Villainy Street Ltd. founder Talyn Edelson is a stunt performer and action actress who lives in Los Angeles, CA and Denver, CO. She loves to travel and lives adventurously. She enjoys a variety of martial arts (BJJ, TKD, FMA, MMA, etc.), rock climbing, riding motorcycles, snowboarding, shooting guns, parkour and many other athletic activities. Working in film/tv as a performer is her favorite job, and she is happily living her childhood dream every time she is on set and working in entertainment. “I still carry my freshman class ring on my keychain. There is a martial artist on one side and drama masks on the other.” she said.

“It reminds me daily that I still love to do the same things that have always given me genuine joy.”

Talyn has been passionate about the cause of giving back to homeless and underprivileged youths since she was a young teen. She went to University of California at Berkeley to visit and attended a few classes in the realm of social issues and juvenile delinquency with her cousin Cory. Afterward, Cory took Talyn and her little sister Catie to a homeless youth shelter at which she volunteered. They had the opportunity to take Josh (a homeless boy whose mother was also living on the streets of San Francisco) to see a movie at the theatre. Watching the positive impact this had on Josh made such a difference in Talyn’s life. It prompted her to find ways to contribute to this cause and improve the self-esteem of youths.

Villainy Street is the first of these endeavors.

“We believe in the power of creativity for catharsis across varying mediums such as film, movement & art. We encourage this healthy lifestyle to process traumas while enjoying a fun and meaningful life experience.”

Talyn relays that she would not have been able to push past traumas and insecurities of her own had it not been for her
on-screen inspirations and opportunities to create.
